Biotech founded in 2021 (originally Australia's first psychedelic biotech) developing non-hallucinogenic 5-HT2A agonists intended to deliver psychedelics' antidepressant and neuroplasticity benefits without the psychoactive trip, as improved alternatives to SSRIs. It partnered with the University of Sydney's Brain and Mind Centre, raised an approximately $8M seed round, and rebranded to Xylo Bio around January 2025 while expanding into the US.
