Czech Republic (Ministry of Health) — The Czech Republic confirmed the clinical conditions for its medical psilocybin framework, with a government decree setting out that certified psychiatrists with psychedelic training may administer synthetic psilocybin to patients with cancer-related depression, serious non-psychotic depression, or life-threatening deteriorations in mental state.
Rollout will initially be limited to a few dozen patients annually, mainly in Prague and Brno, making Czechia the first EU member state with a full legal framework for medical psilocybin.
